As Managing Director and Vice-President at KSV Advisory, Mitch expertly handles both challenges and opportunities. He assesses distressed businesses in a wide variety of industries, including financial services, technology, real estate, cannabis, manufacturing, mining, retail, printing, automotive, agriculture, and oil and gas.
Mitch is a highly skilled and trusted advisor for lenders, trade creditors, debtors, and purchasers in both formal proceedings and informal mandates and has been involved in many high-profile matters.
Practising in restructuring and turnarounds since 1998, Mitch is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee and a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional. He is a former Director of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals.
Mitch earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. As a respected expert in his field, he has spoken at numerous insolvency conferences and has written articles on restructuring topics for CA Magazine, American Bankruptcy Institute, Commercial Insolvency Reporter and the Law Society of Ontario.
