Passionate about helping clients realize their goals, Ross works with companies to find positive solutions in restructuring and insolvency matters. As a quick learner, Ross is able to understand his client’s unique situations and needs efficiently.
Ross, senior manager at KSV’s Calgary Office, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and an Insolvency and Restructuring Professional. Ross combines exceptional client service and a deep understanding of finance to offer strategic advice to debtors and lenders in restructuring and insolvency mandates. He has worked with a broad range of clients and industries, including oil & gas, real estate, and healthcare.
Ross regularly acts as a consultant, receiver/manager, and monitor in a broad range of substantial and complex matters. He has acted on several notable matters, including acting as the court-appointed Receiver of a prominent cross-boarder drilling fluid treatment company, successfully divesting substantially all of its assets to drive an enhanced recovery for the lender. He also acted as the court-appointed Monitor in the CCAA proceedings of an energy company, which resulted in a successful restructuring of the company’s debt and equity profile. Ross has also worked with the Competition Bureau of Canada on numerous engagements that involve monitoring high-profile transactions and ensuring companies comply with strict asset preservation orders.
Clients trust Ross to provide dedicated service and focused advice. Although insolvency and restructuring are his focus at work, when the workday ends, that focus changes to hockey, golf, and baseball, three of Ross’ favourite sports.
