Yen Dang

Bio

Yen Dang brings more than a decade of experience in valuations, litigation support and forensic accounting to KSV’s valuations team. 

Her strong foundation of analytical expertise, technical skill and business knowledge allows her to prepare detailed valuations and other reports quantifying economic loss and damages in litigation and dispute matters. In family law matters, Yen prepares valuation and income determination analyses and has testified at family law arbitration and mediation proceedings.

Communication is central in Yen’s work, as is responsiveness and understanding a client or mandate. Right from the start, her priority is drilling down to what a client really needs so she can provide the right solution.

Taking a team approach, Yen enjoys working with business owners, as well as other professionals, advisors and stakeholders. Her clients include both public and private firms in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, utilities, energy and resources, professional and financial services, technology, construction, trade services, logistics and transportation, and real estate.

Yen is a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV), designated by the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and holds the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from York University.

Prior to specializing in valuations, Yen worked at two international accounting firms in the areas of financial auditing and taxation. She has worked with KSV’s valuations team since 2016.
