We were retained by a multinational construction and engineering firm as the expert witness to quantify damages suffered by several subcontractors in connection with the construction of a hydroelectric project.
This mandate involved an analysis of the actual costs incurred by each of the subcontractors. This required us to review detailed accounting records to identify the direct and indirect costs associated with the project, and to quantify damages based on the additional days required to complete the project. We worked with other experts who quantified the delay period.
We testified at the arbitration in this matter.
atter was resolved favourably for our client at approximately the full value of the claim included in our report.
