Laura Secord commenced separate, concurrent receivership and Chapter 11 proceedings to provide it the opportunity to maximize the value of its business and assets pursuant to a court-supervised stalking horse sale process. As Receiver, we sold Laura Secord’s business on a going-concern basis using a modified Section 363 auction process led out of Canada.
