MMFX Steel of Canada Inc. owned and operated a steel mill in Welland, Ontario from which it manufactured steel based on a proprietary technology owned by its US parent.
We were appointed Monitor by the Court in MMFX’s CCAA proceedings, while parallel proceedings were commenced under Chapter 11 in the US. We conducted a sale process which resulted in a court-approved going concern transaction.
